Our story
In 2023, five researchers from DeepMind came together around a shared conviction: cutting-edge AI research had never really been applied to the day-to-day operations of enterprises. They set out to change that.
Most work still happens in browsers, desktop software, and systems that were never designed to work together, and most of them have no API. H builds agents that operate there directly: they read the interface, decide what to do next, and act through the screen the way a person does.
We held this conviction two and a half years ago, well before the rest of the market started talking about computer use. H began with a focused bet on one domain. It is now a platform built to operate across the full range of environments where enterprise work happens.

Founded in Paris
A small team of researchers and engineers gets to work on action models, convinced that AI's next leap is from knowing things to doing them.
More than 200 million euros raised
A global round alongside Accel, UiPath, Motier, Bpifrance, Bernard Arnault, Eric Schmidt, and FDJ UNITED Ventures funds the work on action models.
First models: Holo1 and Holo2
Holo1, our first open-weight vision-language models for computer use, launches with the Surfer-H web agent, followed by Holo1.5 and Holo2. Gautier Cloix becomes CEO.
From models to production deployments
Holo3 pushes the computer use frontier. H Platform opens with the Models API and the Agents API, HoloTab puts agents in the browser, our first enterprise deployments go live, and H joins the NVIDIA Nemotron Coalition.
